Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
